PLUNGER (NEEDLE/SLEEVE) VALVE
Exercising control of flow or pressure in modern distribution systems or large water mains is of paramount interest to water engineers worldwide owing to ever growing size of townships and the need to optimise distribution of water. IVC has two distinctly different, generic products that one can use with felicity. These are:
An axially moving plunger within the inner cylinder throttles or completely isolates flow through the annulus around the inner cylinder, the flow appropriately directed to the middle of the valve body or pipe line thereby eliminating Cavitation to a large extent.
